Fuerza Bruta Wayra Will Open at Off-Broadway's Daryl Roth Theatre This Spring
By Andrew Gans
Global entertainment producer S2BN Entertainment announced Feb. 5 that Fuerza Bruta Wayra will premiere in Manhattan at the Daryl Roth Theatre April 15.
An extension of the Fuerza Bruta family, Wayra, according to press notes, "takes the audience on a thrill ride from beginning to end, with an extra 20 minutes of heart thrashing fun, fast paced and upbeat live music, on-stage musicians and breathtaking aerial displays. The new scenes are guaranteed to make seeing Fuerza Bruta Wayra a theatrical experience that floods the senses."
The production previously played London and Buenos Aires.
Producer Stephen Shaw said in a statement, “I am really excited to bring scenes from our international success, Wayra, to our loyal and faithful fans here in New York City. Live musicians, new aerial displays, and incredible new scenes. We’ve essentially taken the amazing Fuerza Bruta show, and made it bigger and better, offering fans a fresh experience.”
Opening night is scheduled for April 22.
