Disney's Aladdin, starring Adam Jacobs as charming street rat Aladdin and Courtney Reed as misunderstood princess Jasmine, will fly into Broadway's New Amsterdam Theatre Feb. 26. In anticipation of its first performance, director-choreographer Casey Nicholaw chats about the show.

Aladdin officially opened its pre-Broadway engagement Nov. 21, 2013, following previews that began Nov. 1, at Toronto's Mirvish Theatre. Opening night on Broadway is set for March 20, 2014.

Jacobs (Les Misérables, The Lion King) and Reed (In the Heights, Mamma Mia!) co-starred in the show's Seattle premiere.
