Casting Announced for Bay Area Premiere of Stephen Sondheim's Road Show

Theatre Rhino will present the Bay Area premiere of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's Road Show in 2014.



Directed by John Fisher with musical direction by Dave Dobrusky, performances are scheduled at San Francisco's Eureka Theatre Jan. 2-19, 2014.

The cast will be headed by Bill Fahrner (Addison Mizner) and Rudy Guerrero (Wilson Mizner) with Kim Larsen and Sandra Hernandez.

"Spanning 40 years, from the Alaskan Gold Rush to the Florida real estate boom in the 1930s," press notes state, "Road Show, featuring music and lyrics by Sondheim and book by John Weidman, is the story of two brothers whose quest for the American dream turns into a test of morality and judgment that changes their lives in unexpected ways."

The production will also have lighting design by stage manager Colin Johnson, costume design by Scarlett Kellum, scenic design by Gilbert Johnson and photography by Kent Taylor.
