By Joseph Marzullo
A limited engagement of John S. Anastasi's I Forgive You, Ronald Reagan will begin performances July 15 at Off-Broadway's Beckett Theatre at Theatre Row. Rehearsals began June 17.

"In 1981 a highly decorated Vietnam veteran and revered air traffic controller, defies President Reagan, forgoes his own needs and passion, and makes a life altering decision in the best interest and welfare of his country," according to press notes. "Twenty years later he is unable to accept the consequences of that decision and the overwhelming feelings of betrayal from friends as well as the country he fought for. His inability to accept this decision threatens to destroy him as well as the two most important people in his life."
I Forgive You, Ronald Reagan will have scenic design by Craig Napoliello, costume design by Kristy Leigh Hall, lighting design by Jeffrey Koger, sound design by Jason Crystal and projection design by David Bengali.
Performances will continue through Aug. 25.
