Jason Robert Brown Will Offer Songs from Madison County, Last Five Years, Parade, Honeymoon in Vegas in August Concert

Jason Robert Brown, who recently won a Best Score Tony Award for The Bridges of Madison County, and the Caucasian Rhythm Kings will bring their mix of rock/blues/jazz/folk/Gregorian chant/klezmer/polka/atonal cacophony/salsa to New York's SubCulture Aug. 4 at 7:30 PM.
The Caucasian Rhythm Kings band features Gary Sieger and Matt Hinkley on guitars, Randy Landau on bass and Brian Dunne on drums.
A singing guest artist to be announced will also be part of the evening.
Attendees can expect to hear songs from Brown's The Bridges of Madison County, The Last Five Years, Songs for a New World, 13, Parade, Wearing Someone Else's Clothes and his newest musical, Honeymoon In Vegas, which begins previews at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre Nov. 18.
Holed up in a seedy motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert, two former lovers unpack the deep secrets and dark desires of their tangled relationship, passionately tearing each other apart. Led by director Daniel Aukin (Back Back Back at MTC, 4,000 Miles), Tony winner Nina Arianda (Venus in Fur at MTC, Born Yesterday) and Sam Rockwell (A Behanding in Spokane, The Way Way Back) bring an explosive intensity to Sam Shepard’s (Buried Child, True West) landmark myth of the new Wild West.
