Huner Emmett Burke: I’d like to see Damn Yankees made for TV. I think it’d translate well on the television.

Damn Yankees opened on Broadway in 1955 at the 46th Street Theatre and based on the novel, The Year the Yankees Lost the Pennant by Douglass Wallop, who co-wrote the book for the musical. The musical won numerous Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Actor and Best Actress.  Continued...
