The final production of Atlantic Theater Company's 2013-14 season will be Nancy Harris' Our New Girl. Previews will begin at Atlantic Stage 2 May 28, 2014, prior to an official opening June 10. The limited engagement will continue through June 22.
Directed by Gaye Taylor Upchurch (Harper Regan, Bluebird), the production will star Mary McCann.
"Behind the shiny door of Hazel Robinson's perfect London home, nothing is as it seems," press notes state. "Hazel's plastic surgeon husband Richard has embarked on his latest charitable quest in Haiti, leaving the heavily-pregnant Hazel with a failing business and a problem son. When a professional nanny arrives unannounced on the Robinsons' doorstep, Hazel finds her home under the shadow of a perfect stranger with an agenda of her own."
McCann is a founding member of the Atlantic Theater Company. Her stage credits include The Weir,Harper Regan and Bluebird.
Harris' work includes No Romance, The Kreutzer Sonata, Little Dolls and Love in a Glass Jar.
Additional casting and creative team members will be announced at a later date.
