Tony Award winner Alice Ripley, who won her Tony for her performance as bipolar mom Diana in the Pulitzer Prize-winning Next to Normal, will make her solo 54 Below debut in August.
The acclaimed singing actress' Aug. 3 concert is titled Ripley Reflects. Show time is 8 PM.
"Tony winner Alice Ripley presents a brand new evening of your favorite music when she makes her official 54 Below debut in Ripley Reflects," according to press notes. "Expect a carefully crafted sampling of songs from shows in which she was an original Broadway cast member, as well as a healthy serving of melodies that cover a wide range of genres, including her own original tunes!"
As previously reported, Ripley will tackle the role of religious fanatic Margaret White in the cult-favorite musical Carrie this fall in Seattle.
You're invited to spend an evening filled with personal tales of difficult choices, bad breaks, worse men and some of the most glorious songs ever written. It's an intimate evening, up close with a legend.
So pull up a chair and order up a drink. Because she's got a life to sing. Tickets as low as $85!
