The Hills Are Alive!, according to producers, "follows the story of a singing family who, trying to escape the Nazis, decide to cross the Alps into Switzerland. They encounter many obstacles along the way, including wild animals, strange mountain people, and sibling rivalry — all the while singing their way through any trouble. Will they survive? Set in the style of Broadway's Golden Age, this show playfully lampoons a timeless classic."
The Hills Are Alive! was presented at the 2012 New York International Fringe Festival and premiered at the 2012 Westchester Square Arts Festival.
Other members of the creative team include Charlie Winter (lighting design), Jennifer Ackland (costume design), Jim Kent (set design), Becca Pickett (stage manager) and Laura Lindsay (assistant stage manager).
