The Times Square Alliance has teamed up with Manhattan Walking Tour and Walkin' Broadway to offer the two unique experiences. Broadway insiders including Prince, Hart, Schoenfeld and Schwartz share personal stories with users as part of an audio headset that enhances the guided Broadway Walking Tour.
A personal guide will take groups through the theatre district while the audio headset also includes Broadway music to color the experience. Elliott Forrest hosts the audio experience, which is peppered with selections from memoirs by theatre producers, actors, directors, designers and theatre owners.
The Times Square History Tour is led by official NYC tour guides and promises to reveal new insight into the history, architecture, and past residents, while sharing answers to questions such as "How did Times Square get its name?" The tour will make stops at the TKTS booth, the New York Times building, the theatre district and Restaurant Row.
