"You Can't Stop the Beat" from Hairspray: The New Directions concluded the season's first episode, "The Purple Piano Project," with their rendition of "You Can't Stop the Beat" from the Tony Award-winning musical Hairspray, which features a score by "Smash" creatives and Tony-winning composing team Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman.
