PHOTO CALL: Ngaujah and Mambo Star as Fela! on Broadway

Following an acclaimed Off-Broadway run, Fela!, the new musical about the life of legendary African composer and performer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, began performances at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre Oct. 19.
Sahr Ngaujah and Kevin Mambo alternate in the title role. Also featured are Tony Award winner Lillias White (The Life, Dreamgirls, Once On This Island) as Fela's mother, Funmilayo Ransome Kuti, and Hair's Saycon Sengbloh as his love interest, Sandra.
The Fela! ensemble consists of Corey Baker, Hettie Barnhill, Nicole Chantal DeWeever, Lauren Deveaux, Elasea Douglas, Rujeko Dumbutshena, Catherine Foster, Talu Green, Shaneeka Harrell, Chanon Judson, Abena Koomson, Ismael Kouyate, Gelan Lambert, Farai M. Malianga, Shakira Marshall, Afi McClendon, Adesola Osakalumi, Jeffrey Page, Daniel Soto, Jill M. Vallery, J.L. Williams, Iris Wilson and Aimee Graham Wodobode.
