PHOTO CALL: James and Stamos Honored with Artwork

Broadway leading men Brian d'Arcy James and John Stamos both had something to celebrate Sept. 10 when they were honored by two different theatre-district eateries.

James, the two-time Tony nominee and current Shrek star, was presented with a caricature that now graces the walls of Sardi's. James' Broadway credits include Blood Brothers, The Apple Tree, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Carousel, Titanic and Sweet Smell of Success.

That evening, Stamos was added to the Wall of Fame at Trattoria Dopo Teatro on West 44th Street, a favorite after-show destination. Currently appearing as Albert Peterson in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of Bye Bye Birdie, he has previously starred in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, Cabaret and Nine on the Great White Way.
