On Sept. 7 the Tony-winning revival of Chicago will welcome back four audience favorites to the hit musical at the Ambassador Theatre: Bonnie Langford, Deidre Goodwin, Tom Hewitt and Kecia Lewis-Evans.

Langford will again step into the role of merry murderess Roxie Hart with Goodwin as Velma Kelly, Hewitt as Billy Flynn and Lewis-Evans as Matron "Mama" Morton.

Langford, Goodwin, Hewitt and Lewis-Evans will join a cast that features Raymond Bokhour as Amos Hart and R. Lowe as Mary Sunshine. (Goodwin will not perform Sept. 17-22.)

Deidre Goodwin's Broadway credits include Chicago, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Rocky Horror Show, The Boys from Syracuse, Nine, Never Gonna Dance and A Chorus Line.

Tom Hewitt's other Broadway credits include Dracula, The Musical; The Boys from Syracuse; The Lion King; School for Scandal; and The Sisters Rosenzweig. He also appeared in the national tours of Urinetown and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and has been seen Off-Broadway in Jeffrey, Beau Jest, Richard III and Othello.

Bonnie Langford played Roxie Hart both at the Adelphi Theatre and the Cambridge Theatre in London's West End. Other West End and U.K. tour credits include Sweet Charity, Me and My Girl, Peter Pan, Cats, The Pirates of Penzance, Gypsy, 42nd Street, Oklahoma, Fosse, Gone With The Wind and, most recently, Adelaide in the Donmar production of Guys and Dolls. She also received a Drama Desk nomination for her performance as Baby June in the 1974 Broadway revival of Gypsy.

In addition to The Drowsy Chaperone, Kecia Lewis-Evans has been seen on Broadway in Once on This Island, Ain't Misbehavin', Big River, The Gospel at Colonus and Dreamgirls. Her other theatrical credits include Dessa Rose, From the Mississippi Delta and Once on This Island.

Chicago won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.

Jerry Springer made his Broadway debut as the Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show. He is also immortalized in Jerry Springer — The Opera, which was seen in London and at New York's Carnegie Hall.

Chicago plays the Ambassador Theatre, located at 219 West 49th Street.

The long-running musical celebrated its 12th anniversary and its 5,000th performance on Broadway Nov. 14, 2008.
