Film Society of Lincoln Center Screens Marathon of 20 Movie Musicals July 3-5

The Independence Day weekend will march to the sound of songs from the movie-musical genre in Film Society of Lincoln Center's Musical Marathon July 3-5 in Manhattan.
While the July Fourth-themed "1776" and "The Music Man" are not on the slate, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, "Tommy," "Hair," "The Rocky Horror Picture Show," Elvis, Rodgers & Hammerstein and Busby Berkeley are represented in the list of 20 pictures.
All films will be presented at the Walter Reade Theater on West 65th Street. Single screening tickets are $7 members/students/child, $8 senior, $11 general public.
A Day Pass is $40 for the public, $30 for members and admits one person to every screening on that day. A Series Pass is also offered.
