Airaldi, Derrah, LeBow and MacDonald Will Demonstrate When It's Hot, It's Cole Beginning June 26

By Andrew Gans
09 May 2008

The American Repertory Theatre in Cambridge, MA, will celebrate the songbook of Broadway composer Cole Porter this summer.

From June 26-July 20, A.R.T. in association with the Loeb Drama Center will present When It's Hot, It's Cole, which is tagged "A Cole Porter Cabaret."

Conceived by Scott Zigler and Peter Bayne, the production at the Zero Arrow Club will feature A.R.T.'s Resident Acting Company. Zigler directs; musical arrangements were penned by Bayne.

The cast will feature Remo Airaldi, Thomas Derrah, Will LeBow, and Karen MacDonald, and cabaretgoers can expect to hear such Porter classics as "Let's Do It (Let's Fall in Love)," "I've Got You Under My Skin" and "It's De-Lovely."

The creative team also includes musical director Miranda Loud, costume designer Hilary Hacker, lighting designer Kenneth Helvig and sound designer David Remedios.

The Zero Arrow Club is located at the corner of Arrow Street and Massachusetts Avenue in Harvard Square. Tickets, priced $15-$52, are available by visiting www.amrep.org or by calling (617) 547-8300.
