Passing Strange, Top Girls' Mary Beth Hurt and More Irving Berlin Featured on Playbill Radio

In addition to round-the-clock show tunes and Broadway news at the top of each hour, Playbill Radio offers the following special programming.

The schedule for the week of May 13-May 19 follows.

Center Stage
May 13: Eisa Davis and Daniel Breaker of Passing Strange play clashing mother and son in this new Broadway musical. Here they reveal what backstage life is like at this groundbreaking show.

Each week's new "Center Stage" show debuts at 7 PM ET Tuesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Wednesday, May 14; 11 PM Wednesday, May 14; 2 PM Thursday, May 15; 11 AM Saturday, May 17; and 4 PM Sunday, May 18.

Edited versions of the "Center Stage" programs are available as podcasts.

May 14: This week we visit two-time Tony Award nominee Mary Beth Hurt at Broadway's Biltmore Theatre where she is currently co-starring in Caryl Churchill's Top Girls. Hear what it's like to work with a top-drawer cast of actresses in this searing portrait of women in the corporate world.

Each week's "Playbill Presents" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Wednesday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Thursday, May 15; 11 PM Thursday, May 15; 2 PM Friday, May 16; 4 PM Saturday, May 17; and 11 AM Sunday, May 18.

Composer Spotlight
May 15: Part Two of Playbill's salute to music master Irving Berlin, who wrote thousands of songs during his 103-year life. This week, the 1930s through the World War II years, including songs from As Thousands Cheer and the Astaire films.

Each week's "Composer Spotlight" show debuts at 7 PM (ET) Thursday, with repeats scheduled for (all times ET) 2 AM Friday, May 16; 11 PM Friday, May 16; 8 PM Sunday, May 18; and 2 PM Monday, May 19.

This weekend's programming features Tony Predictions at 11 AM Saturday, May 10 and 4 PM Sunday, May 11; The 39 Steps at 4 PM Saturday, May 10 and 11 AM Sunday, May 11; and an Irving Berlin Salute at 8 PM Sunday, May 11 and 2 PM Monday, May 12.
