PHOTO CALL: Broadway Hires Top Girls

Marisa Tomei, Martha Plimpton, Elizabeth Marvel and Mary Catherine Garrison are featured in the new Broadway staging of Caryl Churchill's Top Girls.
James Macdonald directs the starry cast of the Manhattan Theatre Club production; the company also includes Mary Beth Hurt, Jennifer Ikeda and Ana Reeder.
"At the Top Girls Employment Agency in London in the early 1980s, Marlene has just been appointed head of the firm," according to show notes. "But as this ambitious career woman celebrates her achievements, can we applaud her values?" The work from the author of Far Away and Cloud Nine offers "one of the theatre's most honest portraits of what it means to be a woman in the modern world."
