Altar Boyz Cast Will Take a Curtain Call July 2

The cast of the long-running Off-Broadway musical Altar Boyz will perform at Splash Bar July 2.
As part of Scott Nevins' Curtain Call series at the popular dance club, the Altar Boyz company will perform songs from their hit musical following the weekly "Musical Mondays" video presentations of Broadway performances. The Altar Boyz concert is scheduled for 11:30 PM.
Gary Adler and Michael Patrick Walker wrote music and lyrics, and Kevin Del Aguila penned the book for Altar Boyz, which is based on a concept by Marc Kessler and Ken Davenport. The musical, directed by Stafford Arima and choreographed by Christopher Gattelli, won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Musical Off-Broadway and continues to play New World Stages. The current cast features Matthew Buckner, Ryan J. Ratliff, Landon Beard, Jay Garcia and Ryan Strand.
Splash Bar is located in Manhattan at 50 West 17th Street. Admission is free until 10 PM; there is a $5 charge after that time. Attendees must be 21 or older with identification.
