Butley Star to Play the Metropolitan Room in January

Julian Ovenden, who plays Joseph Keyston in the Nathan Lane revival of Butley, will go it solo at the Metropolitan Room Jan. 8.

Ovenden will be accompanied on piano by Paul Ford. Show time is 10:30 PM.

On the London stage Ovenden has been seen in the Donmar Warehouse productions of Grand Hotel and Merrily We Roll Along. He has also appeared on three hit U.K. television shows: "Foyle's War," "The Royal" and "The Forsyte Saga." Ovenden has performed with the BBC Symphony and Concert orchestras and the Ulster Symphony Orchestra.

The Metropolitan Room is located in Manhattan at 34 West 22nd Street. There is a $20 cover and a two-drink minimum; for reservations call (212) 206-0440.
