Judith Light: 2012 Tony Winner for Best Featured Actress in a Play

Even when she was performing in Lombardi on Broadway, Judith Light had her eye on Jon Robin Baitz's Other Desert Cities — her friend Stacy Keach was a cast member. Little did she know, she would soon be playing the role of Silda when show made its way to Broadway — and that she would win a 2012 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her efforts. After her award was presented, Light joined the media to talk about her respect for her castmates and director Joe Mantello, the spiritual connection between the audience and those onstage and the unexpected thrill of taking home Tony honors.
