Highlights From Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Starring Clay Aiken

Maine's Ogunquit Playhouse presents "American Idol" favorite and Broadway and recording star Clay Aiken in Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. This Biblical parable tells the tale of Joseph, a boy blessed with prophetic dreams, who is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers. Songs include "Close Every Door," "Pharaoh's Story" and "Who's the Thief?" and feature a range of styles from country-western to calypso to rock ‘n’ roll. Hands on a Hardbody 's Keala Settle, a 2013 Tony nominee, plays the Narrator. Jayme McDaniel directs and choreographs the production, which runs through Aug. 25. Read the Playbill story.
