High Energy Musical Preview Proves On the Town is Ready to Take on Broadway

Tony Yazbeck, Jay Armstrong Johnson, Clyde Alves, Alysha Umphress, Elizabeth Stanley and Megan Fairchild (a principal dancer with the New York City Ballet who is making her Broadway debut) lead the cast of Leonard Bernstein, Betty Comden and Adolph Green's classic On the Town. Directed by John Rando, the production's history dates back to a New York City Center Encores! concert presentation, then a successful Barrington Stage run. Joshua Bergasse choreographs, with a nod to Jerome Robbins. Here, the cast runs through several musical numbers including "New, York, New York," "I Can Cook Too" and "Ya Got Me."
