A Christmas Story, The Musical Kids Talk About Their Personal "Red Ryder BB Guns"

In A Christmas Story, The Musical, Jake Lucas plays Ralphie, a young boy with a holiday dream — he hopes a Red Ryder carbine-action BB gun will be waiting for him under the tree on Christmas morning. But Ralphie doesn’t think he's got a chance — every adult he encounters offers the dire warning "You'll shoot your eye out!" With this classic storyline in mind, Playbill asked the kids of A Christmas Story, The Musical to talk about their own personal "Red Ryder BB guns" — what gifts did they obsess over but think they had little chance of actually receiving? Read the Playbill story about the kids' favorite holiday memories.
