Highlights From Broadway-Bound The Cripple of Inishmaan Starring Daniel Radcliffe

Martin McDonagh's The Cripple of Inishmaan is based on actual events — in 1934, Robert J. Flaherty brought a film crew to the tiny island of Inishmaan to capture life there and on other surrounding islands. Daniel Radcliffe stars as Billy, a young man with a disability who vies for a part in the Hollywood film in hopes of escaping the boredom, gossip, poverty and isolation of his life. Michael Grandage will direct the production at the Cort Theatre. Performances run through July 20. See the show's details in the Playbill Vault.
