Preview of Songs From Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein's Kinky Boots

As they wrapped NYC rehearsals prior to taking the show to its pre-Broadway home in Chicago, Stark Sands, Billy Porter and the cast of the new Harvey Fierstein (book) and Cyndi Lauper (music & lyrics) musical Kinky Boots previewed four of the show's songs for the press. Based on the film of the same name, Kinky Boots is the story of a shoe factory owner (Sands) whose business has fallen on hard times — and the cross-dressing designer (Porter) he takes a chance on in the hope of bringing business back to life. The show, directed by Jerry Mitchell, will play Chicago's Bank of America Theatre (Oct. 4-Nov. 2) before beginning previews March 5, 2013, at Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre.
