EXCLUSIVE: Andrea McArdle, "Meadowlark," and Magic of '70s Pop

Made famous at 13 years old as Broadway's original Annie, Andrea McArdle's career spans Broadway (Les Miz, Starlight Express, Beauty and the Beast, State Fair), Off-Broadway (The Vagina Monologues) as well as television ("Rainbow," a Judy Garland biopic) and many regional and touring productions. Here, we find McArdle in a more intimate setting as she prepares to take to the stage at 54 Below to sing meaningful songs from her formative years during the 1970s. McArdle, along with music director-accompanist Steve Marzullo, gave Playbill a sample of the show including "Meadowlark," from The Baker's Wife, "Fallin'" from They're Playing Our Song and "I Believe in Love" from "A Star is Born." Performances play July 23 and 30 at 54 Below.
