Laura Osnes in Rehearsal for Cabaret Debut at Café Carlyle

Broadway star and 2012 Tony nominee Laura Osnes (Bonnie and Clyde) and her quartet kicked off a two-week run at the famous Café Carlyle on June 19, but not before Playbill got a chance to pop in for a last-minute rehearsal. For her first-ever cabaret show, Osnes and company are working from a songlist pulled from across the musical spectrum — they share an obscure Broadway tune ("Femininity" from 1958's Oh Captain!), a Great American Songbook classic (Kern and Hammerstein's "All the Things You Are") and a modern folky-jazz hit ("Sunrise," Norah Jones' breakout song). Each performance will feature a different guest star — Jeremy Jordan, Stark Sands, Tom Wopat, Joel Grey and more. Performances run through June 30.
