Christopher Gattelli: 2012 Tony Winner for Best Choreography
A 2008 Tony nominee for his work on South Pacific, Newsies' choreographer Christopher Gattelli finally took the prize for Best Choreography at the 2012 Tony Awards ceremony. His fusion of tap and ballet has his cast of newsboys leaping across the stage — in a way that's tailored to each individual dancer.
