2011 Tony Winner Mark Rylance: Another Tony, Another Odd Speech

After securing his second Tony Award for Best Actor in a Play for his portrayal of backwoods philosopher/drug dealer Johnny "Rooster" Byron in Jez Butterworth’s Jerusalem, Mark Rylance puzzled the audience (once again!) with his acceptance speech concerning the matter of walking though walls. Rylance explains his unusual choice of speech writer — poet Louis Jenkins — while also touching upon his competition.
