Creative Arts Programming Professional

A NY cultural institution
Category:Non-Theatrical

Description:

One of New York’s leading cultural institutions is interested in speaking with highly-motivated, successful and creative professionals who have proven expertise curating, developing and producing original performing arts programs. We don’t limit our programs to any one particular genre or art form and we already have some of the best arts programmers in the city working for us; so to stand out you will need to be able to demonstrate versatility, vision and innovation in your approach.

Curating a calendar of one-off performances, partnerships and residencies, focused, theme-based series and festivals ranging from Sondheim to Bach, Gillespie to Sting, Shakespeare to Shepard, we need the talents of someone that can guarantee delighting both our current loyal patrons while attracting and engaging new audiences to fill our performance spaces (the latter part of this sentence was removed).

We are open in terms of either discussing full-time employment or a contract engagement. What is most important to us is a collaborative spirit, unabashed originality and a focus on delivering both quality and revenue generating programming.

To register your interest please email your resume along with a cover letter highlighting past successes in programming to ArtProgDirector@gmail.com. Please put your name as the subject heading of your email.
