Composer Ted Kociolek (The Age of Innocence, Abyssinia) is currently enrolling students for the Summer 2014 session of his Musical Theatre Audition/Performance Technique Workshop, now in its 7th year. The structured, six-week course runs Mondays August 11-September 22 (no class Labor Day), 7-10 PM, at a midtown studio location TBA.
The workshop, suitable for beginner or career veteran alike, offers the singing actor the opportunity to:

*assemble a song portfolio tailored to the individual
*gain interpretive insights into material
Emphasizing the selection, analysis, preparation and presentation of musical theatre repertoire in a safe and supportive atmosphere of creative exploration, the workshop provides students with practical techniques and guidelines that promote self-confidence and spontaneity, liberate the voice and enhance the audition experience.
Current/recent bookings by students include:
Les Miserables (Regional)
The Sound Of Music (Live)
Mamma Mia! (Broadway)
Mary Poppins (National)
The workshop fee is $300. Limited enrollment.
