SEEKING THE FOLLOWING:

ANA
A twenty three year old who took her life three years ago, Christina's daughter. She regrets the choices she’s made in life. She’s sarcastic but sweet. [Mezzo-soprano/alto with strong belt]

HEREAFTER CHOIR GIRL #1
African-American singer with lots of Soul/Gospel and harmonies. Must be quick at grasping intricate arrangements and harmonies

HEREAFTER CHOIR GIRL #2
African-American singer with lots of Soul/Gospel and harmonies. Must be quick at grasping intricate arrangements and harmonies.

HEREAFTER CHOIR GIRL #3
African-American singer with lots of Soul/Gospel and harmonies. Must be quick at grasping intricate arrangements and harmonies.

EVEN THOUGH THE FOLLOWING ROLES HAVE BEEN CAST, WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO AUDITION FOR THESE PARTS. DUE TO THE PERIODIC PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE [ONE SHOW PER WEEK] WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR BACKUPS;

EDDIE
a nineteen year old who died thirty years ago. Although he’s been dead for 30 years, he is full of life and boyish enthusiasm. Guitar skills not mandatory but a definite plus! Looking for someone who is the close to the characters age of 19 (or looks pretty close to it).

DEBBIE
a very pregnant thirty something desperate to contact her recently deceased mom.

JASON
a psychic medium in his mid seventies (thirty something male who ages at end). [A tenor good with harmonies]

ANITA
a thirty nine year old actress who died fifty years ago and Jason’s love. [An Alto with strong belt and good range ]

SYPIE
a sixty something woman, who died two months ago is worried about her daughter Debbie. [A soprano with strong belt good with harmonies]

MARY
a sixty something woman hoping to contact her son Eddie after thirty years. [A soprano with strong belt and good with harmonies]

CHRISTINA
a forty something, [Latin] mother having a crisis of faith, looking for answers after the suicide of her daughter Ana. [Alto with strong belt and good with harmonies]

ADDITIONAL SALARY INFO:
Salary: $16/hour for rehearsals (estimated @ 25 hrs. per week) and $78/per performance

NOTE: 1 performances per week (Saturdays at 5 PM) with a possible expansion to (Thu & Wed @ 7p)

Pension (8%) and Health Insurance paid. Health payments are made as 1 week each for rehearsal weeks (total of 4), and 1 additional health week paid for every 6 performances.
