Layoff dates: 10/27/14 -1/18/14 (12 weeks total)
Note: Layoffs will be unpaid weeks but producer will travel actors back to point of origin then back to the tour.

Female Dancers Who Sing Well:
Characters are 20s – early 30s. Seeking beautiful, sexy, very strong dancers who sing very well to play 1920s chorus girls and Jimmy’s friends. Strong jazz and ballet technique. All women cover principals so all must be strong singer/ actors as well as dancers.

Male Dancers Who Sing Well:
Characters are 20s – early 30s. Seeking masculine, handsome and dashing dancers with very strong jazz and ballet technique. They play members of the Vice Squad. Men will likely cover principals so all must be strong singer/ actors as well as dancers. .

Non Union Chorus dancer at Thursday July 10th at Ripley Grier Studios 520 8th Ave 17B

Women 9:30a – 1:00p sign up begins at 9 am and the list will be pulled by 10:30 am.

Men 1:30p– 5:00p Sign in begins at 1 and will be pulled at 2:30

Notes/What to bring:

Please be warmed up and ready to dance when the call begins. Women: Bring character shoes with a heel, jazz shoes/sneakers. Men: Bring jazz shoes/sneakers. Some (m/f) may be asked to stay and sing after all have danced. Please prepare 16 bars of traditional theatre music – Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Jule Styne, etc. Bring sheet music in the correct key; an accompanist will be provided, but may not transpose. Please bring a photo and resume, stapled back-to-back.
