Phoenix Entertainment/Throne Games, LLC. is casting for season one (2014/2015) of the non-equity National Tour of Lerner and Loewe’s CAMELOT. Stephen B. Kane and Michael McFadden, Producers; Mark Minnick, casting.

SEEKING: 2 Male Ensemble Knights: Seeking masculine, appealing smart actors who sing. Between 5'10 and 6'3. These slots will also understudy the following roles. One actor may cover both roles so please attend of you fit the breakdown for a Knight.

ARTHUR: (to play 20-40): A masculine, appealing man, youthful and idealistic in spirit, his strength is tested continuously by the mounting burdens of the Crown. A strong actor, attractive, in-shape baritone (Low A to Eb)

KING PELLINORE/ MERLYN: Actor doubles as both roles. KING PELLINORE is a wonderfully funny and stuffily “British” old knight – provides the most consistent comic relief in the play. Dedicated to Arthur. Very eccentric. MERLYN is the famous wizard who teaches Arthur almost all he needs to know. He disappears after the second scene in the show.

Audition Information

When: Wednesday, July 9th at 12:30pm
Where: Chelsea Studios, 151 W 26th Street,between 6th and 7th Ave, 6th floor. NYC
Notes/What to bring: Looking for in shape, attractive, appealing actors with strong singing voices for this all-new interpretation of Camelot. Bring picture/resume stapled together and sheet music with your best 16 bars of show appropriate music, in the correct key.
Character callback packets are available to download by clicking the Employment link in the footer of www.phoenix-ent.com.
For Arthur we start with his first scene with Guenevere and the end of Act One monologue. For Merlyn/Pellinore we start with the first Pellinore scene.
If you can not attend the audition, you should submit a video by June 12th at 12 noon for consideration and follow the instructions for submitting. They are listed with the callback packets.
Competitive compensation package includes salary, per diem, travel and housing. Contracts are September 2014 - Jun 30, 2015. Performers must be over 18 years of age.
