ADV: Acting for Models
Category
Academic
Description
For professional models with no acting background making the transition to acting, or looking at adding acting or spokesperson work to their portfolio, this is a one-on-one basic orientation to acting techniques, monologue coaching and cold reading. From Shakespeare to contemporary texts, the work is customized for your professional targets. This is a good first step to take before on-camera acting technique classes at any of New York's teaching studios. Client list is kept strictly confidential, and the $500 price of four private, one-hour sessions includes rehearsal space rental in Midtown Manhattan theater studios. Slots available through January, when I leave to teach and direct in Norway for the semester.
Christopher Carter Sanderson, MFA in Directing, Yale School of Drama and BFA in Acting, New York University is the founding artistic and producing director of New York's Gorilla Rep (since 1992). Faculty posts at Princeton and Yale, published author. Check everything, feel free to request my transcripts, resume, and New York Times reviews.
