MCC Theater, the 24 year-old award-winning Off-Broadway theater that has produced Reasons to be Pretty, Frozen, Fat Pig and Wit, among others, seeks highly-motivated and skilled development director with a passion for theater, a dynamic and creative energy, and an imaginative approach to fundraising, problem solving and relationship building. She/he will spearhead upcoming $5+ million capital campaign while growing the diverse yet fledgling annual fund, with contributed income of more than $1.25 M on $2.25 M budget. Will work closely with and report to executive director and collaborate regularly with artistic leadership and Board of Directors. Ideal candidate will have 5-7 years direct experience, excellent writing and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively multi-task.
