STAFFORD ARIMA Selected directing credits include Bright Lights, Big City (Prince Music Theatre), Ragtime (West End, 2004 Olivier Award nomination, Best Director), Ace (Repertory Theatre of St. Louis/Cincinnati Playhouse), The Secret Garden (2005 World AIDS Day concert), Children’s Letters to God (Off-Broadway), Candide (San Francisco Symphony), A Tribute to Stephen Sondheim (Boston Pops), Abyssinia (Goodspeed Musicals), Chef’s Theatre (Off-Broadway), Guys and Dolls (Paper Mill Playhouse), Aida (North Shore Music Theatre), A Little Night Music (Sacramento Music Circus), Smokey Joe’s Café (North Shore Music Theatre) and Total Eclipse (TSP Studio Theatre, Canada). Mr. Arima was the Associate Director on Seussical and A Class Act. He graduated from York University (Canada) where he received a Bachelor of Arts honors degree in Theatre Studies and was the recipient of the Dean’s Prize for Excellence in Creative Work.
