The free conversation will be presented at the Guild's Frederick Loewe Room at 5:30 PM. Tesori, according to press notes, "will guide the conversation, asking Lin-Manuel Miranda about the process, rewards and challenges of writing for the contemporary American musical theatre."

Jeanine Tesori penned the Tony-nominated scores for Twelfth Night; Thoroughly Modern Millie; and Caroline, or Change. She is also the composer of the forthcoming Broadway production of Shrek The Musical. Lin-Manuel Miranda is a writer and actor, who wrote the score for the Off-Broadway musical In the Heights. That musical will arrive on Broadway later this season with Miranda in the cast.

The Dramatists Guild's Frederick Loewe Room is located at 1501 Broadway, between 43rd and 44th Streets, suite 710. Although the seminar is free, reservations are required by calling Tari Stratton at (212) 398-9366, ext. 20 or by e-mailing [email protected].
