The Tony-winning musical Fun Home launched its national tour October 2 in Cleveland, OH. Upcoming stops include Durham, Chicago, Saint Louis, Detroit, Minneapolis, Las Vegas and Denver. See all scheduled dates here.
The touring production returns to a proscenium staging, reflective of its Off-Broadway premiere at The Public Theater. The in-the-round presentation was developed for the Broadway production at Circle in the Square. The Broadway run closed on September 10 after 26 previews, 582 regular performances and five 2015 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Book of a Musical, Best Direction and Best Original Score.
On tour, Kate Shindle plays Alison, Broadway cast member Alessandra Baldacchino takes on the role of Small Alison and Abby Corrigan plays Medium Alison. At certain performances, Carly Gold will play the role of Small Alison. Robertf Petkoff, Susan Moniz, Karen Eilbacher, Robert Hager, Lennon Nate Hammond, Pierson Salavdor, Anthony Fortino, Amanda Naughton, Sofia Trimarchi and Michael Winther fill out the cast.
