Matt Rodin, video producer and Playbill.com correspondent, has released another video in his new BROADWAY series. He and co-creator Reed Campbell released their first BROADWAY video in honor of the 2016 Tony Award nominations.
In it, Rodin and Campbell spoof what it would be like if fraternity brothers were as enthusiastic about theatre, the Tony Awards and all things Great White Way as they typically are about sports. This latest video features Tony Award winner Cynthia Erivo as a third “bro,” and the trio “bros out” about the incredible cast members and details of the Broadway revival of The Color Purple. Opening with a cry of “It’s Sunday mornin’!” the video was released on Rodin’s Facebook page and YouTube channel appropriately on Sunday, July 31.
