Staged by Justin Boccitto, 10:30 AM weekday performances of Aesop's Fables will continue through March 16. The musical features a book by Michael Milligan (La Bête, August: Osage County) with music and lyrics by Joziah Longo ("The Grand Slambovians").

The cast features Isaac Dayley, Sarah Grace, Seth McNeill, Peter Trojgaard, Taylor Walsh and Anthony Zas. A talkback with the cast will follow each performance.

The musical, according to press notes, "blends dances, toe-tapping songs and join-in songs with the lifelong lessons of such timeless Aesop's fables as 'The Boy Who Cried Wolf,' 'The Lion and the Mouse,' 'The Fox and the Crow' and 'The Tortoise and the Hare.'"

Aesop's Fables: A New Musical is the third and final production in CITSTS' 3-Plays for Grades K-6 series, which opened in November 2011 with Anansi the Spider and continued with Cinderella: A New Version of The Oldest Story Ever Told in January.
